We are lucky to have a large, tranquil site, surrounded by trees, in the centre of Roade village. The address is The Leys, Roade, Northampton NN7 2NR. The croquet lawns are situated behind the Bowls Club.
Finding us
Roade is south of Northampton, just off junction 15 of the M1.
We share an entrance gate with Roade Bowls Club, immediately on the left as you turn into The Leys from the High Street. After going through the entrance, please park on the large grassed area on the left. Do not park on the hard standing in front of the bowls clubhouse.
Cross the drive from the parking area and follow the signs, taking you to the right of the Bowls Club clubhouse. Keep right, continuing along the path until you arrive at the croquet lawns.
As the approach is along a gravel path, unfortunately wheelchair access is difficult. Toilet facilities on site have two steps.
At the time of writing the No 33 and X6 bus services between Northampton and Milton Keynes stop at the Cock Inn, just round the corner from the club.
