A crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for our new site in Roade is up and running.
Please help us by making a donation or take up one of the rewards on offer to offset a larger donation. just go to: https://crowdfunder.co.uk/take-off-to-roade
We have secured our first grant and are busy working on other applications especially grants for larger sums of money for the groundwork for the Roade site.
We are going to need members ideas and support to secure more funds, so if you have a fundraising idea, contact a committee member.
A bit of croquet fun started by Paul Hetherington of Peterborough has hit mainstream media! He wanted to get a bit of publicity for a friendly match between our clubs and the Nen/Neene pronunciation of our common river. It’s a fun story to raise a smile in these times. Most importantly Northampton claim the bragging rights, by winning the croquet.
Below is a link to the story in The Times – Monday 17 May
It’s subs time again! Please send your completed forms to the James Skelton, Membership Secretary.
